Minimum $17 per hour for LNA's

We are hiring Unit LNAs for Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing!

We have positions on day, evening and night shifts available with full-time, part-time and per diem hours. We schedule for 8 hour shifts available on all three units and 12 hour shifts are available on Post Acute.

We offer the following differentials on top of the hourly rate of pay:

  • Per Diem $2.00 per hour
  • Evening $3.00 per hour
  • Night $5.00 per hour
  • Weekend $2.00 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials)

A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for full-time and part-time LNA openings.

Subject to applicable taxes, the bonus is paid in three installments: 1st after 90 days, 2nd after one year, and 3rd after two years. Bonus recipients must commit to continuous full-time or part-time employment in an eligible position for two years with Porter Medical Center. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.

Job Summary
The Licensed Nursing Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively under the direction of the Unit Nurse to deliver basic personal care support and specific aspects of patient care. Responsive communication, respect, and support to our residents is the central feature of this position.


  • LNA license with the State of Vermont.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
