Adecco Healthcare & LifeSciences is currently looking to hire a skilled Pharmacy Technician for their client in Troy,MI
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm (M-F)
Pay - 23-25/HR
Job Summary:
Our Client is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication Preparation and Dispensing: Assist pharmacists in measuring, packaging, and labeling prescriptions accurately.
Customer Service: Greet and assist patients in person or over the phone, address inquiries about medications, and process prescription orders.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order medications and supplies, and check for expired or recalled products.
Insurance and Billing: Verify patient insurance information, process claims, and handle billing issues.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
Documentation: Update and maintain accurate patient records, prescription logs, and inventory reports.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred.
Valid State license.
Proven experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related healthcare role.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy practices, and inventory systems.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and computer systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
