ELECTRICAL SENIOR ESTIMATOR – SAN JOSE, CA

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Senior Estimator in San Jose, CA.

Electrical Senior Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical Senior Estimator in San Jose, CA is between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Electrical Senior Estimator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise lead and direct estimating team to ensure timely and accurate estimates
  • Conduct estimating system training for all estimators/project managers, etc
  • Lead/train estimators on estimating team
  • Provide leadership and assist in training of other estimators in the department
  • Continually maintain and upgrade company estimating system, database and assemblies as needed
  • Manage quotation process with subcontractors and suppliers to verify pricing incorporates all scope items
  • Manage quotation process with suppliers and subcontractors


Electrical Senior Estimator Qualifications

  • Must have 7+ years’ experience in electrical construction in an estimator role
  • Must have experience estimating commercial/industrial/high tech industries
  • Desire and willingness to train others
  • Accubid experience required
  • Understanding of power delivery on substation & transmission lines
  • Strong employment stability
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Team player, collaborative attitude

Preferred but Not Necessary

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience with design/build of at least 5 years
