Job Overview
The Minister to Women will be responsible for providing leadership to the Women’s Ministry at Cityview Bible Church, which includes: casting a compelling vision; developing and executing ministry strategies; and providing pastoral care for women within the church community. This position will require someone who possesses spiritual maturity, a strong biblical foundation, a collaborative spirit, and relational wisdom to connect and lead women with diverse ages and backgrounds. Serving under the guidance of the Executive Pastor of Discipleship Ministries, this individual will develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the women of Cityview.
Job Description
OVERALL OUTCOMES AND RESULTS –SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION WILL RESULT IN:
- Providing Spiritual Leadership and Biblical Teaching :
- Develop, lead, and/or facilitate timely and relevant Bible studies, discipleship groups, and spiritual formation opportunities for women.
- Provide biblical teaching, equipping, and training for women through seminars, conferences, retreats, and special events.
- Serve as a spiritual shepherd, providing pastoral counsel and guidance that is rooted in Scripture and biblical principles.
- Fully align with and champion Cityview’s complementarian vision of biblical gender roles within the church, the home, and in the surrounding community.
- Developing a Strategic Ministry Vision and Plan :
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the women’s ministry that is in alignment with the overall mission, vision, and values of the church.
- Identify, recruit, and develop a women’s leadership and vision team who will provide support, offer input, and assist in executing ministry plans.
- Equip, and empower ministry leaders to serve and lead in various areas of the Women’s Ministry and the church as a whole.
- Oversee, coordinate, and execute women’s ministry events, including retreats, fellowship gatherings, outreach programs, and special events.
- Community Engagement and Discipleship :
- Encourage Christ-centered and biblically-focused relationships among the women at Cityview.
- Develop pathways for women to be mentored and discipled through small group environments and gatherings.
- Mobilize the Women of Cityview to serve in the community and share the gospel within their sphere of influence.
- Collaboration and Church Involvement :
- Work alongside the ministry leaders to integrate the Women’s Ministry within the broader church community.
- Partner with the Pastor-Director Team in churchwide discipleship efforts, out- reach initiatives, and local & global mission opportunities.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with the staff, ministry leaders, and congregation.
- Administrative and Budget Management :
- Develop and maintain the yearly operating budget for the Women’s Ministry.
- Manage administrative support staff as needed.
- Lead the annual strategic planning process for Women’s ministries at Cityview.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exemplifies Christlike humility and models the character of Jesus.
- Warm and hospitable with excellent interpersonal and relational skills.
- Strong communicator with the ability to teach truth and cast vision.
- Experience in recruiting, developing, and leading teams of volunteers.
- Commitment to personal evangelism and loving your neighbor
- Genuine love for people and a calling to minister to them.
- Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker..
- Willingness to be a team player and provide meaningful contributions.
- Proven ability to connect relationally with a diverse staff and group of volunteers.
- Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, CCB or similar database platforms.
- Formal biblical education is preferred but not required.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Full-Time; Exempt
- Full Family Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance paid by Cityview.
- Health Reimbursement Arrangement to reimburse out-of-pocket medical expenses.
- 403b retirement savings plan with a 100% match on up to 3% of gross salary.
