Physician – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI
Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI has an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist with interest/focus in neuro-oncology. The new provider will be an innovative, collaborative professional who is clinically focused and passionate about improving the outcomes of children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of neuro-oncologic, hematologic, coagulation, and other oncologic disorders.
This busy inpatient and outpatient practice are distinguished by a full Childrens Oncology Group (COG) affiliation and by a federally funded comprehensive hemophilia treatment center, known as the Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital Coagulation Disorders Program. The practice also performs bone marrow transplants and hosts other specialty clinics including sickle cell, neuro-oncology, and cancer survivorship. Teaching opportunities exist with medical students, residents, and within the practices own fully accredited fellowship program.
Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital is the primary academic affiliate of Michigan State University and appointments are available for qualifying candidates. Support for clinical research is also available.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
- Education - Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Current Medical license for the state of Michigan.
- Current Federal Narcotics Licenses.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred:
- Pediatric Neuro-oncology Fellowship Training
