PostgreSQL DBA/Developer* with Security Clearance

Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is searching for a PostgreSQL DBA/Developer to join our team. This individual will be supporting one of our clients and will have the following responsibilities: * Translate business logic into PL/pgSQL procedures and functions.
* Refactor Oracle PL/SQL code to PL/pgSQL procedures and functions.
* Perform unit testing in line with performance and optimization considerations.Qualifications: * 5-7 years of relevant experience
* 2-5 years of AWS experience
* Strong experience with database performance factors, monitoring tools, and tuning procedures.
* Strong experience with Database Administration tasks such as index creation and management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, and statistics.
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
* Strong Scripting Experience
* Expertise with Linux
* Expertise with Oracle
* Expertise with Exadata
* Experience with AWS SCT tool
* Experience using IBM MQ or Active MQ
* Experience with DevOps
* Experience with Java
* Experience with Kubernetes
* Experience with developing Java-based Middleware services to work with IBM MQ or Active MQ
* AWS Certification preferred
Requirements * Must have an active U.S. Government clearance issued by CBP or an active Top Secret clearance * Must be a U.S. Citizen
