The Driver is responsible for safely operating a transit motor vehicle. The primary objective of the Driver is providing safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation.
Don't have a CDL? Don't worry, if you qualify, MV will provide training for your CDL Class C license (See the HR representative for details and date).

- At time of hire must have a NYS driver's license.
- Not more than four (4) NYS points.
- Not more than two (2) violations.
- Must pass background check and qualify as a 19A driver.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT Physical.
- Must meet 19A Driver qualifications, see HR representative for details.
- Must have a driver's license for at least three (3) years including non CDL or other states license.
