Job Description

Haynes Furniture is searching for experienced and reliable Customer Service Specialists!


Responsibilities:

  • Receive both inbound (and conduct outbound) calls; talking with customers, store managers, furniture repair technicians and/or warranty companies within our call center
  • Respond to customers requesting store hours, reporting damage, or late deliveries
  • Assist customer in determining optimal resolution, such as an exchange, repair, or return
  • Complete repair service orders, process credits, set up returns, and schedule new deliveries for exchanges whenever appropriate
  • Document detailed information regarding each service order in our computer system
  • Assist call center supervisors with any reports and special assignments
  • Managing customer resolution and restoration needs in a timely, courteous and professional manner


Requirements

  • Multi-tasking, coachable, independent professional who wants to learn
  • Positive, resilient, courteous, helpful, pleasant personality
  • Detailed, strong follow up and follow through; excellent time-management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required; a great listener and problem-solver
  • Minimum 35 wpm typing with basic Windows (point & click) experience is required; MS Office is preferred
  • Enjoys non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) as part of a flexible and accommodating full-time 40 hour per week schedule
  • High School Diploma (or GED) is required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends required.
