Description

The Wireline Applications Engineer is responsible for introducing new wireline perforating products into the market, strategically develop and maintain relationships with energy sector operators and service providers. Candidate shall have a thorough knowledge of Warrior 7 and 8 software, and the ability to act as a sales representative to provide technical information of new wireline products to end user.

Wireline products range from selective fire switches (mechanical and addressable), next generation Wireline Release Tools, Gamma Guns, Specialty Logging Devices, Shooting Panels etc. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Team and Perforating Product Line Manager during the final development phase of new wireline products.

Candidate shall have the ability to carry new wireline products thru the evolution from engineering prototypes, commercial production, sales and marketing process. He shall understand product operation and maintenance while having the ability to train internal staff and external clients in the product operation process.

• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application via phone and remote support applications.

• Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users via remote support applications and phone.

• Works in conjunction with Engineering and Product Line Manager to maximize sales procedures, flow efficiency, product enhancement and new product development.

• Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.

• Perform technical/ product training for internal staff and external clients, acting as the liaison.

• Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company CRM software

• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.

• Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.

• Performs troubleshooting of tool, equipment, and overall wireline systems.

• Fosters and maintains customer relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and ensures the confidentiality of all logging and perforating operations.

• Responsible for addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Prepares and maintains monthly reports and presentations to track performance and update senior management on sales progress.

• Represents GEODynamics at industry related organizations and events.

• Ensure compliance of all Federal, State, County, and Local regulations applicable to explosives operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be proficient in Warrior 7 and 8 software.

• Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point)

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Travel up to 60% required
