Our client, a top 10 US Property & Casualty Insurer, is currently seeking a Junior Accountant for a 5+ month temporary position with the opportunity to extend. The position is located in Miami, Florida.

The hours for this position are as follows
- Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate= $23.00-$25.00/hour
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Accounts Payables Tasks: Invoices Processing
- Monthly Regional Expense Accounting Closing:
- Preparation and Posting of Recurrent Entries
- Preparation and Positing of Reclassification Entries
- Fixed Assets Accounting
- Updates of Basis Table for Expense Allocations
- Preparation of Monthly Expenses Reports
- Intercompany Accounting Management
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
- Support preparation of Expenses Budget
- Any other ad-hoc tasks related to Controllership Area
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field coupled with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software is required.
