Payment Process Specialist        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Payment Process Specialist will include:   

  • Compensation (Range): $17.00/ hour
  • We are looking for a qualified Account Maintenance Specialist to join our team! A successful candidate with have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The Account Maintenance Specialist will provide overall data entry support for our operations team. Account Maintenance Specialist will inspect the quality of all merchant applications entered into our internal and external systems.
  • They will also be responsible for maintaining accounts after boarding.
  • Account Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for all scanning and attachment of account documents as needed (in accordance regulatory compliance)
  • Manage data entry of all reinstatement's, adjustments, and terminations
  • Complete data entry of all forms relating to customer information
  • Complete all merchant level changes post enrollment into processor systems including but not limited to:
  • Bank account updates, address changes, new pricing requests, statement refunds, adding card types, including EBT and pin debit
  • Back-end support changes at the terminal level to support front end updates
  • Completing “suspense” reports in Global system
  • Complete assigned Verify Rates tickets
  • Other duties as requested and assigned

Job Requirements

As a Payment Process Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • 1-3 years of Payment Processing experience with respect to Visa/MasterCard/Discover (all card types)
  • 1-3 years of data entry experience required (with a high degree of accuracy)
  • AS/400 system experienced (preferred)
  • Proficient at understanding and applying and following work-flow processes
  • Advanced skills in Office products (Email, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Ability to work cross functionally and pull information for different sources
