Our partner in the Lafayette area looking for a Receptionist to join their growing team and newly constructed office. The company is a privately-held specialty construction firm that builds and maintains pipelines and related facilities for major energy companies. The work environment is safe, clean, and the atmosphere is team-focused and familial. The role is being created due to the organization’s growth; there is ample opportunity for long-term stability in the position but also for growth/expansion/promotion.

Candidate must have a positive and collaborative attitude
Candidate must have a strong knowledge of general office etiquette
Candidate must be trustworthy and respectful of proprietary information
Candidate must have effective communication skills in all mediums – face to face, telephone, and written (e.g., email) communications
Candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to adhere to organized and repetitive processes
Candidate must have the ability and willingness to assist in ad-hoc clerical duties – office mail, data entry, filing, etc.
Candidate must have at least 3 years of relevant experience, to include:
1st Point of contact for visitors and phone calls
Filing, Scanning, and Organizing
Data Entry – With attention to detail
Payables and credit card processing a plus
oExperience with Quickbooks is a plus
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience

•No expectation of overtime (8 hour workdays, Monday – Friday)
