Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager for their Packaging facility in the Marble Hill Missouri area

This job will have the following responsibilities: 
  • Working with Local and corporate CI Management to improve and implement Continuous Improvement practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a Continuous Improvement Program based upon Lean principles that enhance all aspects of Performance (customer value, quality, productivity, and safety).
  • Work closely with management to establish sustainable Lean practices that empower employees, accelerate change, and enable personal and team development.
  • Manage/assist with site and regional savings targets for continuous improvement efforts. While the savings will be rolled into the individual site savings to report and claim, this role will share some direct responsibility for achieving these targets.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and support for others who are working on continuous improvement at the various locations.
  • Assist in developing training materials and training others in various aspects of continuous improvement. Acts as a subject matter expert for improvement methodologies
  • Maintain and expand personal knowledge of lean six sigma methods and tools.
  • May perform other functions that may be assigned. List of primary functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • BS in Industrial Engineering or other Technical Discipline
  • 5-10 Years CI Experience Ideally as a Manager
  • Flexible Packaging Preferred, Packaging Experience Required.
