Developer - Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Client is seeking a Software Applications Developer to support an engaging software development program. The successful candidate will join a team of applications developers working on multiple projects, including high-profile, high-visibility initiatives offering technical learning opportunities. These projects are cloud-based and support various mission partners. The ideal candidate will have AWS experience in developing for the cloud, including secure cloud integrations, optimizing cloud connectivity, and managed cloud services. Proficiency in developing web applications using JAVA, JavaScript, NodeJS, and/or Angular is required. ServiceNow and Salesforce skills are desirable, as is experience with emerging technologies. The developer will collaborate with the program team to design and develop new applications and integrate new solutions into existing applications. They will analyze and solve complex application development needs, identifying potential new tools/technologies. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of Javascript software development principles and be eager to learn and implement new skills. Proficiency in troubleshooting and upgrading web applications is essential. Experience in a DevOps environment developing within an Agile framework using code delivery mechanisms such as Maven, Ant, continuous build systems like Jenkins, Nitro, Git, and code repositories such as Subversion is preferred. Skills/Experience:
• Demonstrated experience using JavaScript (JS).
• Demonstrated experience with development languages: Java, NodeJS, and Angular.
• Experience automating and scripting using Bash and Terraform (desired).
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues with managing and deploying applications in the cloud (desired).
• Experience with REST Web services and SOAP Web services (desired).
• Experience with Spring, Spring Security, and Hibernate frameworks (desired).
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation Templates, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Security Groups, S3, and KMS (desired).
• Experience automating configuration and provisioning of cloud resources (desired).
• Experience with OpenSSL and TLS encryption protocols (desired).
• Experience administering databases like MySQL (desired).
• Experience administering no-SQL databases like MongoDB (desired).
• Experience installing and managing Apache, Tomcat, and Express servers (desired).
• Salesforce Development (desired).
• ServiceNow Development/Administration (desired).
• Docker Container Experience (desired).
• Experience developing in PHP or willingness to learn PHP (desired).
• Experience developing HTML views with CSS (desired).
