Human Resources Administrator

The Human Resources Admin will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department in the areas of benefit administration, training and development, corporate policies and procedures, personnel, retention initiatives and any other areas as required. Detailed coordination of Human Resource activities and confidentiality in all areas is essential and must be handled with professionalism.


  • Essential Functions:
  • Provide support for Human Resources team and various department as needed
  • Perform a wide variety of clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties
  • Electronically maintain all Human Resources department files, including personnel files with the utmost confidentiality. Filing must be kept up-to-date to ensure readiness to access data is available.
  • Maintain administrative forms and update manuals
  • Provide customer service, both in-person and by telephone
  • Answer questions from employees regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations
  • Compose and type letters, memoranda and other correspondence related to assigned human resources programs and activities
  • Assist in retention program initiatives
  • Communication with various departments regarding employee issues and initiatives
  • Coordinate supply orders with Operations and Human Resources
  • Assist in event planning and coordination


  • Position Qualifications:
  • 1 – 2 years of Human Resource experience preferred
  • Advanced PC skills with experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet experience required
  • Human resource database software experience preferred
  • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative on time sensitive projects
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to use good judgment in confidential situations
  • High degree of professionalism
