Position Title: Senior Engineer Process Engineering

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

Sustain manufacturing production line and troubleshoot for process and tool issues. Monitor SPC daily and respond to SPC and CFM failure. Improve Cpk, and develop and optimize unit processes in order to meet process and device performance requirements for 14nm technology node and beyond. Assist in tooling start-up, installing the processes into manufacturing, and owning the processes and the tools in manufacturing. Perform tool setup, qualification, and tool matching. Improve process robustness for high volume manufacturing using statistical tools, DOE techniques, data-driven decision making, and systematic problem-solving skills. Use lean manufacturing and Six Sigma processes. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to develop advanced FEOL etch processes to meet technology (e.g. performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g. process stability, cost of ownership) targets. Support Integration team and Quality organization to ensure the technology meets the qualification and reliability requirements.

Qualifications
Position requires a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or relevant engineering or physical science field. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or relevant engineering or physical science field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related role, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related role.

Position requires knowledge of or experience in semiconductor manufacturing and development. Requires knowledge of or experience working with various module unit process and equipment. Requires knowledge of or experience with various characterization techniques including SEM, TEM, and XRD. Requires knowledge of or experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE). Knowledge and experience may be gained concurrently through graduate degree curriculum, or graduate co-op or internship.
