A health services organization in Oregon has a great Director of Resident Services opportunity awaiting a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). In this role, the Director of Resident Services (RN) will be responsible for directing, controlling, managing, and effectively assuring that systems are in place to provide for quality assisted living services.


The Director of Resident Services (RN) will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely assessments of all residents and prospective residents
  • Directing, supervising, developing, and implementing resident care systems
  • Completing pre-placement assessments, needs and service plans; inputting obtained data into the YARDI system
  • Handling Nurse delegation for all areas of the community
  • Assuring resident care and services meet acceptable standards while following best practices
  • Coordinating and communicating resident care needs with resident and the responsible party
  • Managing all medications for residents residing in licensed areas
  • Communicating with residents, families and all health care professionals regarding a residents care needs.
  • Obtaining medical records necessary to determine resident’s appropriateness for community and to develop needs and service plans
  • Creating and maintaining appropriate staffing schedules at levels within budget to meet resident needs in assisted living
  • Ensuring acceptance and retention of all resident’s meets state or governing bodies' requirements
  • Perform other duties, as needed


  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Experience in an Assisted Living and/or Skilled Nursing role/setting
  • Previous experience working with the Geriatric population
  • Knowledgeable of State and Federal regulations
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentations kills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
