UW Health Partners Madison, WI (On Site) Full-Time

Work Schedule:

60% FTE, evening/night shift, weekend rotation. Holiday rotation.

Come work for the UW Carbone Cancer Center - the only comprehensive cancer center in the state of Wisconsin - as designated by the National Cancer Institute.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

* Join a team of REMARKABLE nurses that use compassion and teamwork to care for their inspiring patients.
* Provide care for acutely ill patients, including patients at end of life, and those undergoing bone marrow/stem cell transplant and cellular therapies (CAR T).
* Connect and form therapeutic relationships with patients.
* Be involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.
* Become an expert oncology RN. You will receive formal education classes in hematologic malignancies, oncologic emergencies, bone marrow transplant, palliative care, and chemotherapy certification.

Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six months of RN experience.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification

Preferred - Chemotherapy certification.
