Provide System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to identify, oversee development, analyze, evaluate, mature and transition technologies to satisfy emerging requirements and deliver revolutionary data processing algorithm capabilities in support of Government objectives. Remain cognizant in aspects of technology development and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of multi-INT and open source data processing algorithms and technologies. Identify existing or emerging technologies with potential to mitigate capability gaps. Engage with user to identify unsatisfied emerging needs and requirements. Define algorithmic solutions across multiple intelligence data sources to satisfy user needs. Define solutions or concepts and develop architectures to deliver capability. Define Research and Development (R&D) projects to discover or mature technologies. Collaborate with acquisition experts to define R&D objectives, requirements, desired outcomes, plans and schedules, and technology transition targets. Evaluate R&D contractor proposals and technical feasibility and provide recommendations for contract awards. Assist in the creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps. Analyze and evaluate R&D contractor development assessing progress of development and maturation of technology. Provide recommendations to continue, re-plan or discontinue R&D projects. Participate in the evaluation of technology readiness and provide recommendations to transition technology. Assess technical and programmatic risk and opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks or exploit opportunities. Support the planning and execution of integration, test and transition of technologies to user. Support Government staff in the planning, coordination and day-to-day management and oversight of development efforts.
- Bachelor's with 12 - 15 years of experience or a Master's with 10 - 13 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 10+ years of experience
- Recognized expert within the Company, who designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications, which may result in new product/business opportunities for the Company
- Leads efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- TS/SCI with polygraph
