PGT is seeking an Operations Technician for its Indianapolis, IN location.

Job Overview

As an Operations Technician, you will perform tasks and duties related to the preparation and setup for the coating of aerospace products, while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.  Technicians must work safely, be detail oriented, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and always maintain the highest quality standards. Our success depends on our teamwork and accountability.

Responsibilities

 

•         Operate equipment including but not limited to grit blaster, waterjet, and degreaser according to training, process documents, and 5S standards

•         Prepare parts for aerospace coatings

•         Attention to detail is required to ensure that aerospace quality standards are maintained

•         Adhere to safety expectations, and recognize and report any unsafe practices or work conditions

•         Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement and essential function of all positions

•         Assist maintenance in the troubleshooting and correction of equipment malfunctions or repairs, and reporting any faults to management and maintenance

•         Complete all required documentation, tracking, and required signoffs

•         Visually inspect parts and report concerns to management

•         Performs other duties as assigned
