You will be responsible for:
- Assists Director of Admissions to achieve facility census goals and annual budget projections.
Acts as liaison between the company and the outside community.
Work with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.
Ensure participation in marketing events and community educational activities as appropriate
Assist in hiring and training of Director of Admissions and Admissions Assistant
Participates in the centers quality improvement plan by identifying any customer service issues and reporting them to the Executive Director
Develops relationships specific to area to assist in strategies to maximize census and future business needs.
Provides training in admissions, business development, and customer satisfaction to key personnel in the region
Works closely with the Executive Director Marketing and Business Development on strategic planning, census initiatives, web content review, and market analysis.
Maintains knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance.
Assist in the education of facilities on managed care contracts including billing requirements
Works closely with Regional Business office to coordinating our efforts to ensure appropriate and timely payment.
Assist in the development and implementation of facility business plan
Participate in the facility quality improvement process by identifying customer service or other opportunities and coordinating with Administrator on strategies to improve.
What will you need?
Bachelor’s degree required
Knowledge of the process of Marketing, Community Rapport, Admissions, and working with area Hospital Discharge Coordinators (preferred)
Degree Emphasis in marketing and public relations(preferred)
5+ years of experience in the marketing field with proven results
Healthcare and long-term care marketing and admission experience (preferred)
The Regional Director of Marketing and Admissions is responsible for strategic marketing, public and community relations as well as planning implementation to support Admissions. Develops relationships with key referral sources to increase volume and profitability. Implement marketing strategies, including advertising and other marketing communications, plan community relations initiatives, and oversee internal communications and special events.
