Job Summary

The Senior Digital Product Manager for the Comcast Corporate Site & Platforms should think in equal parts design, strategy, production, and development. The ideal person for this job should have a creative vision and passion for website production, be editorially driven and able to handle the day to day of a digital newsroom, be able to manage an agile development team from concept to deployment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. In partnership with the head of the Comcast Creative group, the Sr. Digital Product Manager will lead the end-to-end management of the Comcast Corporate site and platforms, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams (production designers, producers, developers), working with cross-functional groups (PR, Advertising, Social Media, Corporate Communications) to tell the public facing story of Comcast Corporation.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Editorial - Oversee all aspects of production on a day-to-day basis. This includes programming the home page, working with the designers and producers to bring multiple stories a day to life across the site, maintaining the evergreen brand pages, as well as being on point for any crisis communications that arise.

  • Strategic Site Design & Production - Lead the design and production of large tentpole brand campaign pages to support various Advertising and Social Media initiatives.

  • Development Liaison - Oversee the strategy, timeline, and development decisions across the development teams (UX, front end, and back end).

  • Proactively monitor and research industry conversations, competition, and trends to understand the landscape and to generate fresh ideas for digital storytelling.

  • Collaborate with our broader digital team to evaluate analytics to continuously improve engagement and brand reputation.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 10 years of digital web production experience including hands on experience managing content in CMS environments

  • Must be editorially savvy with a passion for digital design

  • Capable of understanding and guiding developers, production artists, strategists, creative, social, and other third-party vendors.

  • Experience working with Google Analytics & SEO/SEM

  • Experience managing multiple high level and fast paced projects at the same time, meeting deadlines, budget & objectives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

Bachelor's Degree
