B&L is a large provider of vision products and surgical equipment. Currently they are seeking folks to work in their Distribution Center in Lynchburg, VA.

Job Description
1. Responsible for performing daily work assignments including but not limited to order fulfillment and proper maintenance of inventory in Lynchburg. Follow all security, safety, and quality standards.
2. Picking orders based on customer demand
3. Proper packing of products to ensure they are correct and prepared for shipment
4. Returns processing
5. Cycle Counting
6. Maintenance of Inventory
7. Usage of RF scan guns to keep track of pick lists
8. Replenishment of warehouse stock based on incoming shipments

Candidates will also maintain a clean work area (sweeping, dusting, trash disposal, etc)

1. Candidates with successful warehouse experience are preferred
2. Ability to properly maintain inventory
3. Familiarity with RF scan gun technology and forklift experience in a plus.

Candidates could be moved at any time to partake in cross training as needed to make them a more versatile and valuable employee. These basics along with a teamwork mentality will be taken into consideration at the end of assignment to position folks for the possibility of being hired as a FT employee.

Preference of shift will be taken into consideration but we may not be able to guarantee a specific shift. Based on Availability

8am - 4pm Mon-Fri

2nd Shift Surgical
2pm-10pm Mon-Thurs & 1pm-9pm Fri

1st Shift Lens
7:30am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

2nd Shift Lens
3:30pm - 11:30pm Mon-Fri

3rd Shift Lens
11:30pm - 7:30am Sunday night - Friday morning
