Entry Behavior Therapist

CB Est Salary: $260K - $260K/Year
Salary: $22 - $26 / per hour
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking entry level or experienced Behavioral Therapists in the San Jose Area!
What We Do:
We aim to improve the lives of children and families living with autism by providing a behavioral intervention plan to children while working one on one in an in home environment. Our BT's will help children on the spectrum learn effective social, motor, language, communication and cognitive skills using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques.
Position: Behavior Therapist/Technician (Entry-Level and Experienced)
Pay: Dependent on experience

- 40+ hours of paid behavioral training
- 40 hours of BCBA Supervision signed off (for RBT Certification)
- Mileage reimbursement driving in between clients
Who You Are:
- Enjoys working with children!
- Playful, friendly, sociable, and quick on your feet!
- Ability to lift 75-90 lbs frequently
- Has reliable transportation
- Access to internet, cell-phone usage, and email
- Willing to commute up to 20 miles to client(s) homes
- Communicates effectively with Supervisors and Schedule Coordinators
Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor
- Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients
- Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan
- Complete and document session per policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in any in-service training
- Playtime is learning time, so having fun is expected as well!
