Kforce has a client in Scottsdale, AZ that is seeking a Remote Sr. Performance Test/Engineering (JMeter). This is a 100% remote position including after COVID. Key Responsibilities:
  • Sr. Performance Test/Engineering will be working closely with product owners and understanding business requirements
  • Documenting and maintaining business definitions, data dictionary and technical data mapping specifications including source to target mapping documentation
  • Performing extensive data analysis and creating inventory of database, ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading), Business Intelligence and/or scheduling changes for each release
  • Sr. Performance Test/Engineering will be defining, building audit and error logging controls
  • Designing and implementing data source integrations from RDBMS and SaaS applications using real-time and batch processing technologies
  • Designing and developing ETL processes to acquire and load data from internal and external sources
  • Developing and implementing programs in various languages such as Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, Java, and Python
  • Participating in code reviews, migration, and support of Database and ETL code
  • Creating migration checklist and deployment instructions
  • Sr. Performance Test/Engineering will be participating in grooming and sprint planning sessions
  • Prompt and efficient handling and management of support requests to the Data Warehouse team including ad-hoc data analysis requests
  • Ensuring 24/7 availability of existing data loads with the assistance of remote developers within the team
  • Defining and building audit controls to track missing and errored data
  • Evaluating data process optimization opportunities and developing recommendations and improvements
  • Troubleshooting production load failures and resolving to meet Business SLA's
  • Leading and working on installations, configurations, upgrades, and administration of the current and future BI & DW technology stack


  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent field
  • 10+ years of data related experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and implementation of ETL framework for complex data warehouse projects using Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, Pentaho, or Azure data factory
  • 10+ years of experience in building data marts and data warehouses
  • 7+ years of experience working in multiple database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and Postgres
  • 7+ years of experience in scripting and optimizing advanced Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
  • 5+ years of experience in consuming data from REST API sources, JSON and XML
  • 5+ years of experience in DW production support, troubleshooting and resolving data load errors
  • Experience with manipulating, processing, and extracting data from large datasets
  • Experience with dimensional data modeling and the construction of ETL routines in a data warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with Cloud data solutions, architecture, and their interdependencies for BI use
  • Expertise in working in an Agile (Scrum) and/or Kanban environment
  • Experience writing run books
Additional experience and proficiency with:
  • Python, Java and/or Scala
  • BI tools including Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Informatica Power Center, SSIS, Pentaho DI Studio or similar ETL tool
  • Dimensional Data Modelling, ERwin, or ER Studio
  • SQL, PL/SQL procedures and functions
  • Power shell or Unix Shell scripting
  • Postman, Rest API, JSON, XML
  • Confluence/SharePoint, Git and Jira
  • Amazon Redshift or Azure data factory or Snowflake DW (a plus)
