We are currently seeking a Sales Specialist for our Instruction and Intervention (I&I) for Upperstate New York.

The I&I Category Sales Specialist is responsible for focusing on customer needs in the Instructional Solutions community to increase market share through individual and team selling activities. You will provide strategic direction on customer behavior and trends within the marketplace.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with the team to maximize sales thru your understanding of market conditions and trends, competitor offerings and product knowledge. You will be responsible for product training, implementation and professional development that support the strategic vision and company goals. Role requires a solid foundation of understanding funding opportunities and standards alignment. You will continuously improve your capabilities by upgrading skills and product knowledge.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or similar discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in Curriculum and Instruction
- Teacher or Administrator experience in a public-school setting a plus
- Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must have Salesforce.com experience
- Candidates must be able to travel up to 75% of the time and may include overnight and weekend travel.
Must be able to work effectively within a group as well as independently. Strong organization skills, effective communication – written oral and the use of social media, ability to think strategically as well as tactically and solid consultative selling techniques required to be successful in the role.
Territory covers western Pennsylvania and western New York.
