Actively works with Retail Group Leaders to ensure consistent approach amongst all Banking Centers.
Participates in the overall pricing strategy for deposit accounts. Makes recommendations with respect to rates as it relates to the cost of funds, competition in the local market and customer relations. Sets goals for managers contributing to the Bank's non-interest income.
Participates in the yearly preparation of the Retail Strategic Plan, including growth goals, needs assessment and performance objectives and drivers. Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of the market sales plans.
Actively supports deposit, loan and wealth management growth.
Provides oversight to retail banking as it relates to strategic initiatives including site locations, deposit growth, banking center loan growth, pricing, product offering and administrative issues.
Assists with preparation of the annual budget for the Retail Banking sector. Understands cost of funds and its effect on income. Controls expenses, adheres to established budget, and emphasizes to managers their responsibility for cost control.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business required with Masters' degree preferred
Minimum 15 years of banking experience with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in Retail Banking. Prior experience as a Banking Center Manager desirableÂ Â Â
Ability to lead and mentor with strong decision making skills
Strong analytical, interpersonal and leadership skills
Good understanding of bank financial reporting
Past experience with building new branches helpful
