Job Description

Responsibilities

Management and support of IGT’s voice and video conferencing system for call centers, jurisdictional operations and business units around the world. Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining voice and video conferencing system networks and equipment globally. This position will be based at IGT’s Reno, Nevada location.

  • Advanced level of expertise in designing, planning, integrating and implementing voice networking and hardware solutions (devices such as routers, switches, hubs, PBX systems, and Cisco IPCC components (VoIP)., CVP, Cisco Call Studio).
  • Ensures voice and video platforms align with overall business strategies/needs.
  • Perform project management of the voice and video solutions for IGT's National Response Center, and for IGT's jurisdictional operations and business units globally.
  • Advanced level of expertise in scripting, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco UCCX, CUCM, and third-party product suites (ININ). 
  • Advanced level of expertise with toll-free routing plans and the AT&T Route-It application
  • Evaluates, recommends, implements Network Management tools to monitor and evaluate network performance. 
  • Performs monitoring, troubleshooting, escalation, tracking and documenting of anomalies and implements remedial actions where necessary.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements optimized cost reduction solutions for existing and future services by continuously evaluating IGT’s voice systems and modern technologies
  • Provides technical expertise to both internal and external customers for pre-sales, contract negotiation, and strategic vendor alliance purposes.
  • Works to build an effective partnership with the internal customers.  
  • Ensures that customers’ concerns or service level incidents are addressed promptly and efficiently and is very customer-centric.
  • Assists Management in analyzing and evaluating the department’s performance and processes to determine if it is meeting and/or exceeding customers’ needs while meeting financial goals. 
  • Identifies proactive solutions for continuous improvement and adheres to industry best practices.
  • Develops and maintains voice, video system and network documentation (system/network drawings, best practices and performance and capacity metrics) per IGT policies.
  • Assists Management in analyzing and evaluating the department’s performance and processes to determine if it is meeting and/or exceeding customers’ needs while meeting financial goals. 
  • Identifies proactive solutions for continuous improvement and adheres to industry best practices.
  • Develops and maintains voice, video system and network documentation (system/network drawings, best practices and performance and capacity metrics) per IGT policies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related area.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience without a degree.

Minimal Technical Knowledge/Experience Requirements:

  • Cisco Certifications such as: CCNA or CCNP (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM), Unity and ININ.
  • Knowledge of IVRs, ACDs, PBX and IP PBX Systems, Cisco IPCC (internet protocol contact center) and voice and data networks.
  • Knowledge of IP protocol and LAN topology.
  • Understanding of enterprise network architectures, switching and routing.
  • Working knowledge of QoS, and VMWare ESXi, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP based LAN, WAN (AVPN, VPN) and firewalls, preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • 10-20% travel
  • Shared on call responsibilities in a 24/7/365 environment.
