Advanced Systems Design is seeking a WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER, SENIOR for our client located in Montgomery, AL.

This position allows for a hybrid opportunity but candidates located or willing to locate to Montgomery, AL are highly preferred.

Job Overview:

• Seeking to hire an established Web Developer with experience in a variety of the more difficult Web tools and languages

• Gather and analyze requirements

• Develop, maintain, and support applications for the organization’s Internet/Intranet sites

• Develop, maintain, and support all database components

• Provide system analysis, design, and programming support, and implementation support for applications

• Responsible for the back-end and front-end development and maintenance of assigned Web application(s)

• Provide fully tested and commented application code, implemented in the production environment

• Write and provide application and project technical documentation

• Perform unit and system testing to ensure the system conforms to detailed requirement specifications

• Code all or selected components of the application

• Document components and applications

• Publish/Deploy applications; Create system reports

• Troubleshoot and support assigned applications

• Research, evaluate, and recommend new Internet tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities and perform other related activities as needed

• Work with staff to mentor them in .Net development

Required Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 yrs of experience in the following: C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, SQL Server, AJAX, JQuery, Razor, Bootstrap, IIS, Visual Studio, and TFS at a minimum.

• 5 - 7 yrs of experience in generating SSRS reports

• 5 - 7 yrs of experience in developing database-driven web-based applications

• 5 - 7 yrs of experience in developing database-driven applications in a Microsoft Visual Studio.Net environment with C#

• 5 - 7 yrs of experience in IIS setup and management

• Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Must have the ability to translate requirements into technical designs and functional code

• Must be able to handle large, complex projects that require advanced skills in multiple technical environments

• Must have a strong work ethic

• Must have the ability to work cohesively within a team or independently

Education:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
