Our global team provides strategic direction, product management, development leadership and customer support for Pega's Smart Applications for Financial Services. These applications include Pega Smart Dispute™, a market-leading financial service solution that automates the processing of disputes and fraud for card-based and non-plastic payments, and Pega Smart Investigate™, the global market leading application for resolving exceptions in SWIFT wire payments. Over 40 global banks, and through them, almost 1700 leading financial institutions currently rely on these applications.

In this role, you will bring thought leadership and understanding of retail and commercial payment exceptions and fraud processing to bear on our efforts to enhance and extend Pega's market leadership in these areas. You will provide product direction, support product development, compliance and maintenance, evangelize with internal and external audiences, and reinforce Pega's market leadership through competitive differentiation. This is a unique opportunity to work beyond your own team.
**What You'll Do at Pega:**
+ Based on your deep domain expertise and in depth knowledge of Pega's market positioning, drive the expansion of Pega's market offering in this area;
+ Guide and administer Pega's product development process and strategy for our Smart Applications;
+ Contribute to design and development of features enabling clients to separate themselves from competitors and deliver differentiating value to their customers;
+ Support implementation of current and emerging payment exception resolution payments both remotely and at the client site;
+ Work with documentation experts to ensure that the product and implementation documentation provides value to various sets of stakeholders.
+ Support on-shore and off-shore development teams by participating in the development of requirements, understanding competitive products and ensuring that Pega's Smart Applications continue to lead the market in functionality and value;
+ Participate in the leadership of the Smart Applications overall business effort, participating in special initiatives and products as they become necessary;
**Who You Are:**
+ An experienced professional (min. 5+ years) with deep expertise in financial services operations, including at least some of the following: credit/debit card disputes, ATM/ACH/EFT disputes, fraud investigations, SWIFT payments as well as new types of payments;
+ A technology professional with a deep understanding of Pega platform technology as well as familiarity with Pega's existing Smart Applications, Smart Investigate and Smart Dispute;
+ An organized communicator who thrives on the challenge of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
+ A leader experienced in translating market and operation insight into differentiating product features and functions;
+ A customer service oriented strategic thinker with a complementary execution capability;
+ Able to work independently without detailed day to day oversight;
+ Demonstrated ability to manage time constraints, weigh priorities, and make the best use of limited time/resources
+ Results focused; Customer service oriented
**What You've Accomplished:**
+ 5+ years of applicable experience in retail banking, disputes management and resolution of payment exceptions broadly; some of this experience must be in a leadership capacity
+ 5+ years of experience in technology or product management
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically incorporating multiple (and sometimes competing) points of view and sets of stakeholder priorities
