Essential Job Functions:
- Handles inquiries for group business and locally negotiated rates for multiple limited or select-service hotels. The size of the portfolio will be determined based on experience and competency
- Provide clients with personalized detailed proposals outlining availability, rates, and hotel details
- Respond to leads through Cvent, PartnerNet, Brand.com, and other sources for all properties
- Follow up with clients through phone calls and emails on outstanding bids
- Create and negotiate contracts for group business and locally negotiated rates
- Once a signed contract is received, send countersigned contract to the client, update CRM, building block in the brand system, and send booking instructions to the client
- Manage Room Blocks
- Load “Room Pick Up” reports in a CRM platform
- Ongoing prospecting to solicit new and enrich existing FTS clients, which will meet and exceed revenue goals
- Provide weekly and monthly production reports to property leaders and ownership groups
- Assist with special projects assigned by the position’s Topline Specialist
- Stay current and knowledgeable with brand and FTS training and SOPs
- Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the Brand, Company, and department
Essential Core Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly to needs and requests
- Proven ability to create and maintain healthy, positive, and productive relationships, with both internal and external customers
- An aptitude to solve complex issues
- Proficient in all MS Office / 365 platforms and working knowledge of the brand systems of their portfolio
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and reports for the levers that drive the business
- Able to work independently, take initiative to seek ways to assist both the internal and external customer
- Drive analytical rigor across the organization to guide outstanding decision-making
- Conduct sales coverage gap analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize work
- Fosters the FTS Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of FTS’s Vision and unity of purpose
Location and Expected Work Hours:
- Required technology to support this position will be provided by FTS
- Work may exceed 40 hours per week M-F to include possible evenings and weekends
- Flexible scheduling and time off, which includes holidays
- A valid driver’s license and access to transportation for periodic travel
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Higher Education degree preferred
- 2+ years of Hotel Experience required
- Hotel branded experience preferred
- 2+ years of sales and/or revenue management experience preferred; on property or remote
- Previous remote work experience preferred
- Annual compensation range begins at $58,000 and is based on experience and certifications
