Rigging and Handling Technical Sales Manager
The Technical Sales Manager is a key employee who is primarily responsible for directly managing the day to day activities of the outside sales team, taking the lead on high level, technical quotes and customers, and for increasing the amount of revenue that company generates year over year.
They are responsible for ensuring that the Industrial Safes Division runs efficiently and is well organized so that the division can grow in the future. The position will be responsible for increasing the turnover of products, understanding what turns and what sits idle, liquidating non-moving items and for rolling out an automated inventory system that can handle the custom nature of the business.
The Sales Manager is responsible for helping to make sure orders stay on schedule and are shipped on time to our customers. This position must monitor the sales delivery environment and set policies and procedures that ensure smooth, efficient, and effective sales so that customers walk away satisfied with our customer service.
The candidate should be self-motivated and can use the resources and training (on-the-job and seminars) at their disposal. This is an internal position and candidates should expect to be in the office each day from 8am-5pm with occasional day visits to key account in New England when necessary.
Manage, Oversee, and Direct Outside Salespeople
Oversee on-site safety inspector.
Help Maintain Supplier Partnerships
Identify new business opportunities and ideas as they arise.
Develop New Key Accounts with Outside Salespeople
Expand Existing Key Accounts with Outside Salespeople
Handle In-House Key Accounts
Get involved in quoting high level jobs, as well as daily customer calls.
Help involve and educate the sales team high level quotes
Focus on Expanding Wire Rope Business
Advertising & Marketing — Creation & Development of Campaigns, Print, Promotions
Web Site — help develop and update the Chain & Wire Rope part of our Web Site.
Responsible for working With Sales Team, Sales Support, & Production to ensure that calls are received, orders are routed & delivered, and customers are communicated to in an effective & efficient means.
Establish the policies, paperwork, & procedures that are required to achieve customer satisfaction.
