The Manager Child Development Center provides leadership in ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency in childcare. The Manager of the Child Development Center is also responsible for providing a safe and nurturing learning experience while communicating the goals, guidelines and standards of the center.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. B.S. or B.A. in child development, early childhood education or related field. M.A. or M.S. in B-K education, child development or early childhood education preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years successful supervisory/ management experience in childcare. Must have at least 900 hours of verifiable experience performing administrative duties in a licensed child care program serving children 0 through school age or least 1,350 hours of verifiable experience performing administrative duties required.
  • Licensure/certification/registration: Level III NC Early Childhood Administrator required. NC Early Childhood Educator Certification Level 10 preferred.
  • Additional skills required: CPR/First Aid, its SIDS, Playground Safety, Infectious Disease Training. Valid driver's license. BSAC required for school age programs otherwise preferred.
  • Additional skills preferred: CDL and ability to drive a 15 passenger van.
