Maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices. This position will have heavy emphasis on recruiting and the on-boarding process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Evaluate, analyze and recommend solutions and improvements to HR processes.
Manage and provide guidance to employees on HR issues.
Work with department managers on employee relations issues.
Assist VP of Human Resources with the creation, communication and enforcement of company HR policies, procedures and other HR initiatives.
Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests and other designated pre-employment checks or assessments as required.
Analyze compensation studies for all positions; make recommendations on appropriate salary level.
This position will require minimal travel
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; along with five years related experience and/or training. PHR Certification, SPHR Certification or Tribal Human Resources Professional Certification is preferred.
