Job Description

Job Summary


Maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices. This position will have heavy emphasis on recruiting and the on-boarding process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Evaluate, analyze and recommend solutions and improvements to HR processes.

Manage and provide guidance to employees on HR issues.

Work with department managers on employee relations issues.

Assist VP of Human Resources with the creation, communication and enforcement of company HR policies, procedures and other HR initiatives.

Responsible for recruitment of positions in all company locations.Work with outside agencies when necessary to fill open positions.
Maintain and enhance our recruiting, assessment and interviewing program; counsel managers on candidate selection.

Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks and background/drug tests and other designated pre-employment checks or assessments as required.

Manage interview scheduling; which includes making travel arrangements, coordinating candidate and client schedules, offer administration and job/personnel file compliance as needed.
Extend offers to selected candidates and may arrange for relocation when appropriate; negotiate wage rates and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates.

Analyze compensation studies for all positions; make recommendations on appropriate salary level.

Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Conduct and analyze exit interviews; recommend changes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

This position will require minimal travel


Education and/or Experience                                                   


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; along with five years related experience and/or training.  PHR Certification, SPHR Certification or  Tribal Human Resources Professional Certification is preferred.

This position is a part of a Human Resources team.
