Kimley-Horn Orange, CA Full-Time

Kimley-Horn, one of FORTUNE Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is seeking an Urban Planner to join our team in Orange, California


The position will support and lead various public and private sector planning projectsincludingpolicy, regulatory and design projects. Typical projects includeHousing Policy,General Plans, Specific Plans,land use regulations, design guidelines and community outreach.


+ BS or MS in Urban, Regional, Community Planning or related field

+ AICP desired

+ Relevant recentexperience in an Urban Planning or Policy Planning role specifically including Policy Planning, General Plans and Specific Plans.

+ Experience working with public agencies, private development companies and/or law firms

+ Familiarity with California planning practices, laws and requirements

+ Proficiency in relevant graphic programs

+ Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

+ Exceptional experience working with clients, developing client relationships and business development efforts

+ Experience mentoring and training younger staff, working in a cohesive team environment
