Reliability Engineer for a Hardware Reliability Team with a Global Consumer Device Company in Cupert
Summary:
The Hardware Reliability team is looking for an engineer to manage the reliability testing on our diverse ecosystem of accessories as part of our strategic environmental initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate reliability test plans and prepare REL test results under oversight of individual product REL DRIs
Partner with in-region REL DRIs to monitor REL test status and drive tests to completion
Participate in meetings with and provide regular updates to Cupertino cross- functional teams
Coordinate technical deep-dives and failure analysis with other REL and cross- functional DRIs, as needed
Management of documentation related to reliability testing and analyses
Key Qualifications
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Efficient time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects at the same time
You are able to provide concise summaries to cross-functional teams and drive in- depth discussions with REL peers
Dynamic engineer with a strong interpersonal skills and “can do” attitude with the desire to work in a top notch team
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excels in collaborative and diverse environments where teams encourage one another to deliver the best product
Education and Experience
B.S. or M.S Engineering degree
Experience with reliability testing, failure analysis, statistics, and consumer electronics is a plus
Location: Cupertino, CA or Boulder, CO(Fully Remote). Cupertino location is preferred.
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Salary: $70hr-$80/hr (DOE)
