Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Job:
- Enter invoices into the accounting system
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
Maintain vendor files and updating vendor account information (this may include W-9 collection and address changes). - Prepares batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
- Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings
- Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards
- Processes remittance information from checks, drafts, and wire transfers for invoices provided by vendors
- Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status
Requirements:
- 2+ years Accounts Payable or General Accounting Experience
- High School Diploma or Associates Degree
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work 30-40 hour onsite
