Assistant Parts Manager

Earthborne, Inc. Warrington, PA Full-Time

Experienced parts counter specialist looking to advance their career with a growing organization. This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple product lines, assist with the parts manager, and expand the parts department. Is that you? We are looking forward someone eager to grow with our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Parts Responsibilities to support the service shop
    • Monitor that all parts being recorded on the correct work orders
    • Verify that all parts are properly billed to the work order
    • Coordinate with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman with work in progress
  • Assist team members
    • Retrieve parts from the parts room and disperse to work in progress area
    • Call vendors for additional parts or special-order items
    • Organize vendor/shop returns
  • Process and Procedure Development
    • Develop new processes for the parts and service departments to enhance the existing procedures
    • Collaborate with upper management to design a vision, both short term and long term
    • Support entry and mid-level employees with daily activities

Qualifications

  • 7 plus years experience in Parts Department operations
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and work as a member of a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs
