RN Clinical Supervisor

Purpose Home Health Fort Wayne, IN (On Site) Full-Time


The RN Clinical Supervisor, RN is responsible for insuring all Clinical Federal, State and company policies and procedures are carried out through the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The RN Clinical Supervisor assists, establishes implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.


  1. Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
  1. Assists with MD order tracking and logging process.
  1. Assists with Prior Authorization process including increases and mock applications.
  1. Supervise and provide continuing education to field nurses, case managers and home health aides.
  1. Complete chart audits.
  1. Complete clinical record reviews.
  1. Assist with daily responsibilities of nursing department.
  1. Complete plan-of-care with other agencies.
  1. Completes documentation/physician orders for changes in patient care.
  1. Provide nursing services as needed.
  1. Scheduling.
  1. Monitoring clinical compliance.
  1. Filing.
  1. Clinical record maintenance
  1. Other duties as assigned.
  1. Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state.
  1. Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  1. Two years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization.
  1. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.
  1. Ability to meet and deal tactfully with customers/patients and the community.
  1. Has excellent observation, verbal and written skills.
  1. Knowledge of business management and government regulations.
  1. Able to lift position or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required tasks.
