CGWI LATAM Alternative Investment Sales Specialist - Private Equity, Real Estate, and Hedge Funds

The CGWI Alternative Investments Sales Specialist is a strategic sales professional who will work within the CGWI Alts Sales Team Latam to execute regional goals while working to implement initiatives and execute global goals.

The CGWI Alts Sales Team is responsible for driving, leading, and executing the sales and distribution strategy for all alternative product solutions and provide after sales across the entire region. CGWI Alternatives include Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds. The CGWI Alts Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving the Alternative business and P&L LATAM where the role has a direct reporting line to the Head of Alternatives Sales for LATAM.

The role will require teamwork and proactive leadership. This team member will be required to build deep relationships with their assigned region's bankers, investment counselors, and clients. The role requires the individual to launch product campaigns, educating internal and external audiences. The individual will lead a sales effort in their region and support all ongoing sales efforts.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

The role is responsible for the P&L of the Alternative Investments business in LATAM, in addition to being tasked to:

+ Develop internal relationships with the Investment Counselors and Banking Teams in the region in a way that would enable the entire sales organization to obtain knowledge and expertise across the CIM Alternative platform and product offerings.

+ Participate in client calls to review existing Alternative offerings and showcase new product solutions.

+ Drive the strategy, communication, sales, and marketing efforts within the region for all Alternatives product offerings.

+ Ensure that the design and implementation of regional product roadshows, managed investments focused events and other initiatives have a maximum impact internally and with clients in the region.

+ Coordinate and strengthen the partnership with the different product teams across the entire organization.

+ Coordinate with the regional General Market Manager (GMM) and Investment Counselor (IC) Team Leader on the strategy for the region.

+ Liaise with the product management teams of the different product lines to make sure that the CIM Alternatives product offering is relevant and effective for clients in the region.

+ Developing insights, identify key trends and create detailed action plans for implementation plan in the region

+ Work with the Investment Counselors and Banking Teams to coordinate our sales and marketing efforts directly with clients and prospects in the region.

+ Assist clients as well as our Investment Counselors and Banking Teams in navigating our internal Citi Investment Management platform and product offering.

+ Design new and attractive ways to engage with our clients directly and indirectly around our Citi Alternatives product and services offering.

**Qualifications:**

+ 10+ years of experience

+ Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese preferred

+ Excellent sales skills - ability to demonstrate relevant solutions to clients and prospects

+ Knowledge and experience selling Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds.

+ Attention to detail, proactive leadership, and strong follow-up skills

+ Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills

+ The ability to effectively deal with people at all levels - internal as well as clients, excellent interpersonal skills

+ Travel: 30-40%

+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
