Human Resource Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is looking for a HR Representative in the North Chicago, Illinois (IL) area. Essential Functions:
  • Support the HR strategy for the US Commercial, Sales, and Marketing Groups ensuring and correctly applying high quality HR practices and processes
  • Provide consultative support to senior management and employee population for US Commercial, Sales, Marketing and other functions as needed
  • Lead HR administrative and coordination efforts
Critical Responsibilities:
  • Support HR business initiatives
  • Provide coaching and support to management around key hiring and headcount related activities
  • Partner with COE to apply enterprise-wide processes
  • Support capability gaps assessment & support developmental planning activities
  • Re-enforce manager effectiveness/coaching, including support for A.C.E (Alignment, Capability, and Engagement) model
  • Coach leaders & employees through employee relations matters (e.g., provide works council administration; relationship management)
  • Partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement
  • Coach management on key annual compensation activities
  • Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies & processes (e.g. ongoing coordination with COE on initiatives and communications
  • Conduct investigations & provide business perspective, as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree is required while a Master's in Human Resources or Business is a plus
  • At least 3+ years of progressive global HR professional experience, and at least 3 years in a generalist role (a huge plus)
  • Strong knowledge of HR management components such as training, compensation, performance management, change leadership and organizational design
  • Above average analytics acumen for an HR professional
  • A proven track record of disciplined action and execution in Human Resource roles; In this role, there should be demonstrated skills and proficiency in the following areas: strong teamwork, and proven skills communicating effectively
  • Must have project and process management skills and strong consulting skills; Experience working with Leadership Team members and employees working from a variety of locations (nationally)
  • Strong HR process orientation, but with a flexible mindset
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & SharePoint) is a must. In addition, you must have strong experience with V-lookups and pivot tables
  • WorkDay knowledge is required
