Potomac Home Support, Inc. (PHS) is a nonprofit organization that specializes in private duty care. When joining PHS, you become a part of a team that ensures patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care that meets the needs of the whole family. We are looking for caring a dedicated CNA to join us to work a 40 hour/full -time position.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides one-on-one patient care in an assisted living and/or home environment in the District of Columbia (DC). The CNA provides personal care and assists with activities of daily living such as cooking, light housekeeping, shopping/running errands, transferring, bathing, laundry, medication reminders, and feeding. These activities are performed in accordance with an individualized care plan under RN supervision. The CNA also performs other duties as assigned by the RN Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Current DC CNA or Home Health Aide certification/license
Active CPR card
Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours to meet patient needs
Available on weekends (if needed)
Work Experience:
At least 1-year experience in a assisted living, skilled nursing facility, hospital, or home environment required.
Schedule: PRN, 20 Hours or Less
Setting: Assisted Living, hospital or patient's home
