About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Specialist as part of Business Client Management in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB). The Business Relationship Support Specialist shares leadership role with relationship managers in managing a moderate-large portfolio of accounts within the CIB Coverage teams that support the Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions Groups of CIB. Acts as the customers' main point of contact for operational questions. Independently and proactively handles customer issues and problems. Monitors overdrafts and other funds movement activity in a customer-focused manner, understanding risk and securing necessary approvals. Confirms additional source of funds and partners with office management in decision making process. Coordinates activities and solves problems with various operations center, internal bank departments and outside vendors. Manages "owning the customer experience" approach and effectively executes on all standard protocols regarding interactions with customers. Independently and/or collaboratively with relationship manager and/or other treasury management office sales staff, conducts customer courtesy calls, both by phone and in-person, for the purposes of relationship building and client support. Gathers deposit and treasury management documentation from customers in a customer-focused manner. Serves as a key partner with treasury management in managing the customer experience during treasury management implementations and beyond for all net new customers and new product sales. Partners with the customer service manager to resolve issues and provides status updates on implementations. Helps with customer onboarding, due diligence as well as any other associated risk management matters where required. May serve as a subject matter expert for the office. Partners with customer service manager to complete line of business operational projects as necessary.

In this role, you will:
  • Relationship building and client support-Independently and/or collaboratively with relationship manager or product partners, interacts with customers by phone, email and in-person, for the purposes of relationship building and client support
  • Customer experience and issue management-Partners with the Relationship Team to resolve issues and enhance the client experience across loans, treasury management and Trade Managers. Manages complaints and system outages and completes line of business operational projects as necessary.
  • Financial crimes- Responsible for collecting non-periodic review BSA/AML documents and data elements in adherence with CIB Customer Due Diligence standards - Facilitates onboarding, ongoing KYC documents, relationship exit for cause and PEP. Supports Periodic Review Execution Team as needed
  • Product support - Serves as a key partner with Treasury Management, Trade and Credit Execution Teams in opening and closing accounts, L/C and credit events. Managing the client experience for all net new customers and new product sales while leveraging products' customer support teams whenever possible. Evaluates/ assures accurate entry and uploading of on-going data changes into the bank's systems of record.
  • Operational execution and risk management - Ensures policy and procedure are followed while managing risk through monitoring and process Execution. Gathers information and documentation from customers in a customer-focused manner.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience
  • Ability to develop and manage client relationships

Pay Ranges:

Houston, Denver, and Minneapolis Pay Range: $55,300.00 - $98,300.00 Annual, depending on experience.
