Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. Houston, TX (Onsite) Full-Time
Overview:

Diamond Offshore owns and operates one of the largest fleets of offshore drilling units in the world. As a leader in deepwater drilling, Diamond Offshore provides contract drilling services to the energy industry around the globe. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Company also maintains primary regional offices in Australia, Singapore, Brazil, and Scotland, with local offices in other countries as required to support operations.

Responsibilities:

The Compensation - Rewards Analyst position will report to the Manager-Global Compensation and will be responsible for the advanced technical compensation support for management and administration of equity, and broad-based compensation plans and programs worldwide. Candidate will bring a well-developed technical knowledge to plan, conduct and coordinate complex assignments, projects, and communications.

Primary Responsibilities

The Compensation - Rewards Analyst position may:

* Review and manage all Incentive plans which include: bonus plans (STI) and equity (LTI) administration of Stock Appreciation Rights (SAR), Restricted Stock Units (RSU) and Performance Based Cash awards
* Participate in annual salary surveys and compensation studies. Maintain database to keep survey matches updated for quick reference for ad-hoc role pricing and the annual survey participation cycle.
* Provide advice to corporate and global staff and HR offices on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluations
* Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to evaluate job descriptions, assessing appropriate grade/level and career pathing. Provide salary and offer recommendations as needed
* Assist with building salary structures, creating processes for compensation-related tasks, and providing training/education to key stakeholders
* Identify and utilize compensation metrics, data, and other resources to provide strategic insights focusing on driving business results
* Ensure new compensation plans are cost effective and consistent with trends and corporate objectives

Qualifications:

Basic:

* Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent years of experience
* 4 or more years of experience with an HR Compensation focus
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel
* Must be able to communicate with confidence and clarity, both in written and verbal communications, with all levels of employees and external vendors
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build consultative relationships both inside and outside the company
* Must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced work environment
* Must be highly organized with great attention to detail
* Must possess and/or be able to obtain a passport
* Able and willing to travel up to 10% or as required

Preferred:

* CEBS or other related professional designation
* Change agent agility
* Experience leading HR or compensation projects of scale
* Experience in Energy industry, Drilling preferred
* Prior HRM system experience, Oracle preferred
