The Senior Digital Product Manager will lead business analysis and provide subject matter expertise for technology initiatives. Partner with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements, business rules, business process flows and use cases using standardized templates for complex business problems and recommend comprehensive technology solutions. Partner with technology through design phase, and testing team via QA and UAT to ensure to ensure the end product meets the requirements. In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in variety of complex functions within the digital environment
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to the execution of the digital strategy
- Review and analyze complex content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Independently resolve complex issues
- Lead team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of digital initiatives, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Potentially lead projects, teams or provide direction to junior staff on less complex digital initiatives
Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer, Engineering, CIS, MIS Information Systems/Technology or equivalent with minimum 8+ years of experience • 4+ years of hands-on business analysis and requirement management experience throughout the entire product life cycle including Analyze, develop and document requirements, business rules, business process flows and use cases using standardized templates • 4+ years of experience supporting multiple large-scale projects in one or a combination of the following roles: publisher, product manager or business analyst • 4+ years of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience • 3+ years of Agile experience • 2+ years of experience in API modeling languages and annotation (YAML, Swagger) • Strong Technical background and experience designing REST API's • Experience and understanding of common WWW text formats & markup languages such as JSON, XML, HTML • Experience using tools like Postman, SoapUI • Competence with modern requirement management tools like JIRA, Confluence • Demonstrated knowledge of data conversion efforts and required testing/validation methodologies • SQL and Splunk experience, to create medium-complexity queries to access various data sources • Ability to proactively examine gaps in the current tool suite and find opportunities to address pain points for our development, product teams, and our external clients.
