Compensation: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour

The Human Resources Generalist has responsibility for all the HR functions throughout the company, including: recruiting efforts, benefit administration, compliance and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and be eager to grow their experience in this solo HR role. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. ?Responsible for all recruiting efforts; job posting, interviewing, new employee orientations ?Processes bi-weekly payroll including pay changes, deductions, garnishments, etc. ?Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel ?Maintains company handbook, updating policies as needed ?Develops and implements personnel policies and procedures ?Benefits administration including selection of annual benefit options and open enrollment ?Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment ?Compliance reporting ?Works with supervisors to handle employee relations matters including performance, training and development, disciplinary action and leave of absence ?Completes unemployment filing and represents company in unemployment claims ?Maintains all employee records with confidentiality ?Filing and miscellaneous records management ?Organizes company activities including quarterly lunches and prize drawings

Job Requirements

?40+ hours a week ?2-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience required ?A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field preferred ?Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and handling confidential information ?Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills ?Excellent interpersonal skills ?Must be detailed oriented ?Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) ?Ability to work independently and as a team ?Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in a fast paced environment ?Be willing and eager to work outside of the initial job description Please contact us today at 209.513.9884 or register on our website at Officeteam.com
