As a key member of the IT Team, the Senior ServiceNow Architect will work across multiple domains including ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, and HRSD), Active Directory, and Okta, and understands DevSecOps. We're looking for an architect who can bring fresh ideas from all areas. The Senior ServiceNow Architect works collaboratively with Business Application, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, app owners, and other stakeholders to understand and provide solutions across different applications on the ServiceNow platform. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Sr. Director, Cybersecurity & IT Operations.

Essential Functions

* Works closely with all ServiceNow stakeholders adhering to SN best practices, the ITIL framework, and ITSM principles.
* A technical resource who performs the day-to-day administration of the ITSM platform.
* Maintains the stability and usability of the platform across production, UAT, and DEV environments
* Performs application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation
* Manages security and administration of the ServiceNow platform and has a deep understanding of SN architecture, roles, and security groups.
* Leads architecture, upgrade planning, and execution through a mature, change management program.
* Manages instance security: user/group access, administration, and access control lists. etc.
* Evaluates the efficiency of existing processes and procedures of change and release management and improve practices associated with continuous building and deployment.
* Work with tools to automate critical aspects of production systems such as configuration management (CMDB) and deployment of IT Operations Management (ITOM).
* Create and review technical design documents, and share best practices, to improve the operation of our systems.
* Perform systems administration and focus on automation of operational tasks.
* Manages security and has a deep understanding of integrations and application support.
* Participates in project teams, ensuring assigned tasks are completed on schedule and escalates issues appropriately.
* Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical staff and communicate ongoing to various stakeholders
* Pursues professional development opportunities. Maintains knowledge of supported systems, and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

1. Educational requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Technology preferred or equivalent experience instead of a degree
* Certification in any of ServiceNow's roles, preferably on ITSM and CSM.

2. Experience requirements

* Understanding of Production Operations, Change Control, and Security best practices
* Working knowledge of at least one modern scripting language (Python, Ruby, Go, and/or Java) is preferred.
* Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
* Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
