Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and components.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Document and maintain records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational certification in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, and to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
