Responsibilities

Department: Medical Group Float Pool

Status: Full Time

Shift: Days

 

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • A minimum of six months experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care physician practice setting and/or direct patient care experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience or EMT license

  • Fluency in English

  • Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory before start of work

  • Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada is required within 90 days of hire.

  • Employees must be in their current position for a minimum of six calendar months and not received any disciplinary action within the last six months to apply and be considered for a transfer.
