Senior Product Designer
- Be an advocate for our users – their needs, goals, motivations, pain-points and mindsets – throughout the product life cycle.
- Conduct user interviews to establish requirements and gaps and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Apply various research methodologies to uncover insights.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
- Utilize your understanding of UX design principles for web, mobile, data visualization and dashboards.
- Maintain the integrity of team brand and design standards.
- Produce UX deliverables and present them back to the internal team.
- Work with our teams of developers to ensure that solutions align with technical requirements and constraints.
Success in this role requires the ability to:
– Demonstrate curiosity, think outside the box and collaborate with many different stakeholders.
– Challenge assumptions and use research findings to articulate the needs of users.
– Build quick rapport to initiate meaningful conversation with users.
– Easily speak with developers, users and executives.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Human-centered design and research experience
- Experience designing for consumer-facing data visualizations.
- Demonstrated ability using any one of the following: Sketch, Axure, Invision, Simpli, and/or Adobe Products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Effective communication skills as a writer, presenter, and facilitator.
- Knowledge of current design standards & best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or certification) in interaction design, human-computer interaction, UX research or a related field
- Experience designing for the healthcare industry.
- Understanding of and experience applying accessibility standards.
- Coding experience
Work-At-Home Requirements
To ensure Work-At-Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of these employees must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
- Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$84,600 – $116,325
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
